The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 electric SUV, which has been available for purchase in India for more than a year, is priced at Rs 2.25 crore (ex-showroom pan-India). The Maybach EQS 680 is the brand’s first all-electric vehicle, not just in India but globally. Let’s examine the features of this opulent electric SUV in more detail.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680: Exterior

The Maybach EQS 680’s design combines aspects of the EQ (Mercedese’s name for its electric vehicles) and Maybach (the luxury brand of the automaker) families. It has a characteristic Maybach grille up front, a sizable closed gloss black plate with vertical chrome slats. In contrast, the headlights are a part of the EQ family.

Although the profile of this Maybach electric SUV is similar to that of the conventional EQS SUV, it has more upscale features including flush-type door handles, forged 21-inch alloy wheels with unique designs, and a “Maybach” label on the C-pillars for easier identification. The back also has a similar look to the standard EQS SUV, but this one’s bumper has a noticeable chrome treatment that ups the ante on luxury appeal.

The Maybach EQS 680 receives a dual-tone shade that is typical of Maybach. High-tech Silver/Nautic Blue, Satin Brown/Onyx Black, Obsidian Black/Selenite Grey, High-tech Silver/Onyx Black, and Obsidian Black/MANUFACTUR Kalahari Gold Metallic are the five dual-tone paint options available for it.

As with other Mercedes electric vehicles, you are welcomed inside this opulent electric SUV by an MBUX Hyperscreen arrangement that fills the whole dashboard. Still, it has certain distinctive Maybach features, such the steering wheel and the pedals’ metal finish bearing the Maybach name. Individual lounge seats with two 11.6-inch individual displays for each occupant are located at the back of the Maybach EQS 680.

In addition, this electric Maybach SUV has two separate panoramic sunroofs, wireless phone charging for the front and rear passengers, electrically adjustable front and rear seats with memory function, and a triple screen setup that includes a touchscreen, passenger screen, and digital driver’s display.
