In January 2022, Royal Enfield recorded total sales of 58,838 bikes in both domestic and foreign markets, down 15% from 68,887 motorcycles in the same month the previous year. Despite the commencement of the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and the persistent shortage of semiconductor chips, Royal Enfield claims to have increased output. However, the firm has recorded great growth in abroad markets and the highest-ever monthly shipments, continuing a fantastic run in international markets, according to the company.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Reintroduced In The UK

While motorcycle sales in the domestic market fell by 23% in January 2022, to 49,726 units, compared to 64,372 units in the same month the previous year. Royal Enfield sent 9,112 bikes to foreign markets, the greatest monthly export total ever and a massive 102 percent rise over the same month a year earlier, when the company shipped 4,515 motorcycles.

Royal Enfield Exports

Royal Enfield’s overall sales volumes were constant from April 2021 to January 2022, with 4,75,431 bikes shipped in the period, compared to 4,76,633 machines sent a year before. Domestic market sales fell 8% from April 2020 to January 2021, from 4,48,441 units to 4,10,624 units in April 2021 to January 2022. The silver lining is the increase in export quantities during this time, which increased by 130 percent from 28,192 bikes in April 2020 to January 2021 to 64,807 motorcycles in April 2021 to January 2022.

The popular Classic 350 from Royal Enfield is being pushed into worldwide markets, with the model launching in the Philippines, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom in 2021, after releases in India and Thailand. The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 continues to garner great feedback throughout markets, according to a statement from Royal Enfield. The company’s production plant has produced the 1,00,000th unit of the all-new Classic 350.
