5. James Bond DB5: $6.4 Million

As we all know, Bond films are synonymous with Aston Martin Cars. Every film at least has one Aston Martin since the ‘Goldfinger’ movie (with a few exceptions). This particular model appeared as part of promotional material for the film ‘Thunderball’. It was used in a promo tour of the USA for the movie. Most of its features were recreated (if not all). This model was sold for the given price at RM Sotheby’s Auction.

4. 2019 DBS and DB4 GT Zagato Recreation: $8 Million

One of the latest offerings from the company, this vehicle is based on a standard DBS and designed by Zagato. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. The 5.2-litre turbo V12 provides a power of 760 HP. Buyers had to buy an official replica of the original DB4 GT Zagato with it at the total cost of around 8 million USD. 3. 1960 DB4 GT Zagato: $17 Million

The stock DB4 GT was lightened and improved by the Zagato factory in Italy (thus the ‘Z’ at the end). Only 20 such GTZ models were produced. It gets a 3.7-litre straight-six engine that generates 314 Horsepower and a top speed of 248 kmph. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.1 seconds. It has a great racing history with a 3rd Place in 1961 at Goodwood and 1st place in the British Grand Prix Support Race in the same year. It was chassis no. 2VEV which appeared at the auction.

2. Aston Martin DP215: $21.4 Million

In 1963, Aston Martin Built this car for GT (Grand Touring) style racing. Only a single example was ever built. It is slightly lighter than the DP214 and uses the same 4.0-litre engine as the DP212. Even after two accidents, the car was restored and is still surviving. It failed to beat the record set by the DBR1 as the most expensive British Car Ever Sold.

1. Aston Martin DBR1/1: $22.5 Million

Talk about making a better auction record. In 2017, this Aston Martin model set the record for the Most Expensive British made car at an auction.
