The paint on this Mustang is what sets it apart. The Ford Mustang was not available in Burnt Orange Poly from the factory. Instead, the owner had to order it from the 1969 Lincoln colour chart on a customised basis. Out of the 7,000 Boss 302s Ford produced, only this one wore the orange paint, which was a $94.60 upgrade in late 1969 when it rolled off the assembly line.

A 302-cubic-inch V8 engine sits behind its tall hood, producing 290 horsepower (213 kilowatts) when new. With 59,000 kilometres on the odometer, the engine is connected to a four-speed manual transmission. The famous coupe was also equipped with a Traction-Lok rear differential and 3.91 rear gear from the factory. What else is there to say?
Although the car has a long history, the owner has meticulously documented everything. The paperwork contain not just the Monroney, owner’s handbook, and service records, but also a new-car thank you letter from the dealer, a vanity licence plate, an assembly inspection card, a temporary owner card, and a warranty plate.
