Top 5 Reasons to love the Mustang Mach-E GT

5. It’s stylish

The longer you spend with the Mustang Mach-E GT, the more you see how much it resembles the original Mustang. It’s got all the familiar Mustang bits, like the long hood and muscular haunches, as well those signature rear lights. It also gets typical EV bits, too, like a blanked-off grille, and a tall upright body.

4. It’s spacious and versatile

Step inside the Mustang Mach-E GT and you realise just how spacious it is. Because the second row has a flat floor, there is plenty of headroom and more than enough space to comfortably seat five adults over short distances. It’s also a hoarder’s heaven, with loads of storage cubbies for this and that, as well as two trucks: a small one up front, and a full-size one at the back.

3. It’s filled with techl

The impressive infotainment system of the SUV is its main selling point. The 15.5-inch touchscreen, which is located in the centre of the dash, is responsive and simple to use.Unlike Teslas, the Mach-E GT has a smaller 10.2-inch display behind the steering wheel that highlights all the important information, so the larger central screen never distracts you.

2. It’s an engaging drive

The Mustang Mach-E GT does not drive like a typical Mustang, but it is, after all, a 2.2-tonne SUV. That doesn’t mean it’s not quick (0-100km/h / 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds) or entertaining. In fact, it feels more sporty to drive than most of its competitors, especially on twisty roads.

1. It’s got good range

The Mustang Mach-E GT, at the top of the model line, has 480bhp and a 91kWh battery, with a range of 498 kilometres (310 miles). Not only that, but the Mach-E Gt supports 150kW charging, allowing you to charge up to 80% in about 45 minutes. If you need to get somewhere quickly, that charging speed will add 117 kilometres (73 miles) of range in just ten minutes.
