Top Two-wheeler Sales In June 2022 | 2-Wheeler Sales June 2022

Hero MotoCorp’s Splendor entry-level commuter continued to dominate the two-wheeler sales in June 2022, with 2,70,923 units sold versus 2,64,009 units sold during the same period last year, representing a 2.62 percent YoY increase in sales. It accomplished this by vastly outselling the Activa.

Last month, the Honda Activa saw a massive YoY increase in volume. The popular scooter sold a total of 1,84,305 units in the last month, up from 94,274 units in the same period a year ago, representing a 95.5 percent increase year on year. The Honda CB Shine finished in third place.

It sold 1,25,947 units compared to 71,869 units in June 2021, representing a 75.2 percent increase year on year. The Hero HF Deluxe finished fourth with a total of 1,13,155 unit sales compared to 1,10,724 units during the same period last year, representing a 2.2% increase, while the Bajaj Pulsar series finished fifth.

It sold 83,723 units last month, up from 79,150 in June 2022, representing a 5.7% increase year on year. In the second half of the table, TVS’ Jupiter finished sixth with 62,851 units versus 31,848 units, a 97.3 percent YoY increase. The XL100 from the Hosur-based manufacturer finished seventh.

It sold 37,474 units versus 35,897 units in June 2021, representing a YoY increase of 4.3%, while the Suzuki Access 125 sold 34,131 units versus 31,399 units, representing an 8.7% increase in sales. The Hero Glamour sold 30,105 units last month, up from 18,759 units in the same period in 2021, representing a 60.4 percent increase.

The Bajaj Platina rounded out the top ten with a total of 27,732 units in June 2022, compared to 43,313 units in the same period in 2021, representing a YoY negative sales growth of 35.9 percent.
