Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) launched the Innova Hycross last year, with prices starting at Rs 18.30 lakh. Earlier this year, the MPV saw its first price increase, raising the entry-level model’s price to Rs 18.55 lakh. (all prices, ex-showroom).
The base model of the new Innova Hycross has now begun to arrive at regional Toyota stores around the nation. The dual-tone front bumper, LED headlamps, all-black grille, triangular inserts on either side of the front bumper, blacked-out steel wheels, body-colored ORVMs, blacked-out B and C-pillars, an integrated spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, rear wiper and washer, two-piece wraparound LED tail lights, and a tail-gate mounted number plate recess are all standard on the G-SLF variant.
The standard-spec The Toyota Innova Hycross has an all-black interior motif, a three-spoke steering wheel, a gear lever positioned in the middle console, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a seat-belt reminder system, a speed alert system, VSC, HSA, and a 4.2-inch coloured MID. The model comes in five variants: G-SLF, GX, VX, ZX, and ZX.(O).
The new Innova Hycross base variant is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TNGA petrol engine that produces 172bhp and 187Nm of torque and is exclusively paired to a CVT gearbox. Higher-end models additionally include a 2.0-litre petrol engine linked to a hybrid motor that provides power to the wheels through an e-CVT unit.
