A new motorcycle is being introduced in the Indian market tomorrow, according to an invitation sent out by TVS Motor Company today. It happens only a few weeks after the Ronin 225 entered the market. The new item, dubbed “The All New Racer’s Choice,” will be unveiled tomorrow at 12 p.m. in a virtual event.
The Hosur-based manufacturer adds that “something brand-new is right around the corner,” and we anticipate that it will be the upgraded TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. It should be noted that the 160 4V test prototype was spotted testing with a new exhaust system, fueling rumours that it might be more powerful.
However, the brand has not yet made an official confirmation, so it may also be testing to adhere to the upcoming emission standards. Given that the all-new Bajaj Pulsar N160 has a better safety net and that competition in the 160 cc segment is growing, TVS could update the already loaded Apache 160 4V with a dual-channel ABS system.

We can anticipate new colour schemes and subtle cosmetic updates as part of the package, and perhaps more performance will be added to the motorcycle’s already competitive price and capable handling. However, we will have to wait and see what actually transpires. Will TVS surprise us by bringing something entirely new?
TVS could benefit from the Ronin’s brand-new 225 cc oil-cooled powertrain and introduce something novel in a different market segment. We only know that these are exciting times to be a motorcycle enthusiast, and we are hoping that the “all-new,” “around the corner” motorcycle will live up to expectations.
It will likely be a road-biased motorcycle rather than a dual-purpose adventure tourer based on the BMW G310 GS because the domestic two-wheeler major further emphasises the racer and cornering part. Or is there a new update for the flagship Apache RR310? We believe that tomorrow will provide answers to too many questions!
