Upcoming Cars Under Rs 10 Lakhs In 2022

Best Upcoming Cars Under Rs 10 Lakh

Many vehicles are expected to come in 2022. The majority of purchasers are in the Rs 10 lakh price band. Here are all the future automobiles that will be available in 2022 for less than Rs 10 lakhs.

The Suzuki Alto is one of India’s most popular entry-level hatchbacks. In addition, many people purchase the Alto as their first vehicle. In mid-2022, the new iteration of the Alto will be released in India. In terms of what it will have, it will keep the same engine as the current-generation Alto — a 796cc petrol engine. It will also be available with a CNG conversion kit. It will be priced between Rs 3 lakhs and Rs 5 lakhs when it is released (ex-showroom). It would face off against the Renault Kwid.

1. New-Gen Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

The Suzuki Brezza is a tiny SUV with a length of less than four metres. The new-generation Brezza will be available sometime next year. It would have more features than the current-generation automobile in terms of features. Dual pod projector headlights with integrated DRLs will be standard on the next generation. It will also include an electronic sunroof. It will be powered by Maruti’s K-series 1462cc petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology under the hood. This Brezza will be available at a starting price of Rs 8 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will go up against the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Toyota Urban Cruiser in this class.

2. Tata Altroz DCT

The Tata Altroz is a premium hatchback that was introduced in India. It is one of India’s safest automobiles, receiving a five-star rating from the Global NCAP. A 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine with 85bhp and 113Nm of torque is available, as well as a 1.2-litre i-Turbo petrol engine with 108bhp and 140Nm of torque. A 1.5-litre Revotorq diesel engine with 88bhp and 200Nm of torque is also included. Because the Altroz does not come with an automatic transmission, we anticipate Tata will offer a DCT transmission. The Altroz DCT is planned to be released in early 2022, with a starting price of less than Rs 10 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Hyundai i20 will be competitors for this vehicle.

3. New-Gen Maruti Suzuki Baleno

The Baleno is also classified as a premium hatchback. Suzuki plans to introduce the next-generation Baleno sometime next year. It would be given a fresh external appearance. We don’t foresee any modifications in the dimensions because it’ll be a makeover rather than a generation shift. The same 1.2-litre and 1.2-litre Dual Jet naturally aspirated petrol engines would be used. The former engine is coupled to a CVT automatic gearbox and a five-speed manual transmission. The latter is only available with a manual transmission. It will be priced between Rs 6 lakhs and Rs 10 lakhs when it is released (ex-showroom). The Hyundai i20 and the Tata Altroz would be its major rivals.

The Hyundai Venue is a tiny SUV with a lot of features. The Venue, which was previously photographed testing in Korea, will undergo a makeover in 2022. It will have the same engine options as the current model, as well as the same transmissions. A 1.2-litre petrol engine with 82bhp and 114Nm of torque, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 118bhp and 172Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 99bhp and 240Nm of torque will be available. It will be priced starting at Rs 7 lakhs (ex-showroom). It competes with the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Toyota Urban Cruiser, as well as the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.

5. Tata Tigor CNG

The Tata Tigor is a tiny car with a length of less than four metres. Because it is a Tata, it is also one of India’s safest vehicles. Tata is planning to sell compressed natural gas (CNG) with its entry-level vehicles, according to reports. Tigor now features a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that produces 84bhp and 113Nm of torque. A five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT gearbox are paired to this engine. Tigor CNG will cost roughly Rs 7 lakhs when it is released (ex-showroom). In its category, it would face off against the Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Aura.
