Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Cars In India In 2024

Maruti Suzuki launched various enticing vehicles in the Indian market in 2023. Among these were the Fronx crossover, which was built on the Baleno platform, the highly awaited Jimny SUV, and the Invicto premium MPV, which was inspired by the Toyota Innova Hycross. The corporation has been working hard to grab a sizable share of the rapidly developing Indian utility vehicle industry. In this article we will see all the Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Cars in India in 2024

Maruti Suzuki introduced the eVX electric SUV concept at the February 2023 Auto Expo, giving a look of their impending all-electric SUV. Later that year, Suzuki debuted an improved version of the concept at the Japan Mobility Show. The eVX commercial version is expected to be unveiled in 2024. Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki plans to launch the next generation Swift in 2024, after the model was unveiled a few months earlier at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show.

New Gen Maruti Suzuki Swift

Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the newest edition of the Swift hatchback in the Indian market in 2024. The latest generation Swift, which was unveiled a few months ago at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, has already been introduced in Japan and is currently being tested in India.

According to reports, the Swift’s fourth generation offers small yet impactful design modifications, as well as a slew of new features that ensure enhanced performance over its predecessor. A 360-degree camera and numerous Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), such as dual sensor brake assistance, adaptive high beam help, a driver monitoring system, and a collision mitigation braking system, are notable innovations that contribute to increased safety.

The hatchback is powered by Suzuki’s latest Z-series engine, which replaces the previous 1.2-litre K-series powertrain. While the carmaker has yet to provide comprehensive specifications, Maruti Suzuki promises that the new Swift will deliver greater fuel efficiency and increased torque at lower speeds.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

Despite being India’s largest automobile manufacturer in terms of both volume production and sales data, Maruti Suzuki has yet to enter the rapidly expanding electric vehicle sector, where competitors have already debuted their own cars. The business showed an electric vehicle idea during the February 2023 Auto Expo, hinting at a planned all-electric SUV.

Later that year, it was renamed the eVX and debuted at the Japan Mobility Show with several improvements. The eVX is expected to be Maruti Suzuki’s first electric vehicle in India next year. It is built on a newly developed platform specifically for electric vehicles and features a 60 kWh battery pack with a range of 550 kilometers on a single charge.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG Variant Launched In India

Despite the downward trend in the sedan and compact sedan sectors, Maruti Suzuki’s Dzire, based on the Swift hatchback, has managed to maintain stable sales figures. Its consistent demand in the taxi industry helps, and the Dzire remains an economical sedan alternative for customers in this category. Expect a Dzire facelift to coincide with the arrival of the new generation Swift hatchback in India, which might include a revised design, new amenities, and a new engine.
