Volkswagen is planning to unveil a new electric vehicle at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023. The CES 2023 is scheduled to take place on January 3rd in Las Vegas. Volkswagen’s exhibit will be on display at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 5 to 8 at the Tech East booth in CP-5.
The CES has become increasingly focused on the automotive industry. As a result, it comes as no surprise that Volkswagen will showcase its latest offering in the EV segment at CES. According to reports, Volkswagen will reveal a camouflaged version of their upcoming EV. Furthermore, the company will reveal its official name.
Volkswagen has already confirmed that the ID.Aero will be produced as a premium midsize sedan and an SUV called the ID.8. It’s possible that their upcoming EV will be a disguised version of the ID. Aero electric sedan. However, the possibility of an entirely new EV (possibly the ID.7 Tourer) cannot be ruled out.
Volkswagen has reportedly planned to showcase a near-production version of the ID. Aero sedan at their display. This car will be launched in the second half of 2023 and will be based on VW’s modular electric drive matrix (MEB) platform.
The ID. Aero sedan car will have an extremely aerodynamic design, a range of more than 600 kilometres, an unusual amount of space, and a luxurious interior. Volkswagen’s next global car model for Europe, China, and the United States would be the highly anticipated sedan. The ID. Aero sedan is expected to come with a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery with a range of up to 620 km (WLTP).
Auto enthusiasts are also excited to see Volkswagen’s ID.4 and the European version of the ID. Buzz at the CES 2023.
