10M$ x4 AMG Project ONE Driving on Public Roads!!

Mercedes has started deliveries of the AMG One, with prototypes still being tested in Granada, Spain. Four prototypes were captured on camera, along with a GT 4-Door Coupe in the 63 S flavor. This is a rare sight, as the F1-engined hypercar is only available in 275 customer cars. The production of the One started over a year ago, and a follow-up hypercar has been ruled out due to emissions regulations. With the Euro 7 standard coming in 2025, there are slim chances of another F1 car on the road. Although the 1.6-liter V6 engine is unlikely to be used in another street-legal car, hybrid know-how could be applied to future AMG performance models.

Seeing and hearing four examples of the fastest production car at the Nürburgring is a treat for the eyes and ears, but it’s also a little sad because a vehicle like the One will never be produced again. With a redline of 11,000 rpm, that engine is a marvel of engineering, but it is also fragile, requiring rebuilding every 31,000 miles (50,000 kilometres). Not many cars will ever get that kind of mileage…

AMG has received the AMG One from former Mercedes F1 driver Valtteri Bottas, while Nico Rosberg is also eagerly awaiting the hypercar. In 2019, Lewis Hamilton expressed his desire to help AMG develop an “LH Edition” for Mercedes F1 drivers, aiming for a louder exhaust, more power, and a different body. The standard AMG One already has 1,049 horsepower and is impressively loud and special.
