Nobody is surprised to learn that Jeep is currently developing a brand-new small SUV that will go on sale globally in 2023. This new SUV, which will go by the name Jeepster, will sit below the Renegade and will be the smallest Jeep SUV to ever hit the market.

Prior to its global premiere, the 2023 Jeepster was recently spotted, and it is anticipated that both ICE and electric engine options would be available. For starters, this new compact SUV will get a split headlight design, top-mounted LED DRLs, a 7-slat grille, muscular wheel arches, and thick body cladding. In addition to this, the new Jeepster will also feature C-pillar mounted rear door handles, sporty alloy wheels, sharp tail lights, and faux skid plates at the front as well as at the rear.

According to what we currently know, this future compact Jeep SUV will be built on one of the more modern STLA platforms and may provide electronic all-wheel drive (eAWD) as an option on higher variants. The American automaker has yet to reveal the specifics of the mild-hybrid and electric powertrains that will be available for the new Jeepster.

On the features front, this new SUV is expected to get features like automatic climate control power adjustable driver seat, push-button start, ventilated front seats, sunroof, floating touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, auto-dimming IRVM, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, and voice commands. It is highly unexpected that Jeep will be launching this new compact SUV in India but is said to be working on a new SUV to take on other midsize SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, and the MG Hector.
