Super Cars That Never Made It To India !

On Indian highways, reaching peak speeds in certain supercars is nearly difficult. What kind of supercars are these? Here’s some additional information.

  • Super cars are designed for giving thrill-seekers ultimate speeds.
  • Indian roads make it difficult to drive these cars
  • No wonder these super cars have not made their way into India

Supercars are built to be extremely fast. However, extensive expanses of street or highway free of traffic, pedestrians, potholes, and speedbumps are required to extract their full power. And we all know that finding such roads in our nation is nearly difficult. So, while people continue to buy Ferraris and Lamborghinis to satiate their need for fast automobiles, they must find it exasperating that they are unable to drive them to their limits. So, just for fun, we compiled a list of five insanely fast supercars that will never make it to India.

1. McLaren Speedtail

After the Senna, the P1, and the F1, this hybrid machine was introduced in 2018 as the fourth entry to the McLaren Ultimate Series. It has a peak speed of 403 kilometres per hour and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in exactly three seconds. That’s thrilling enough, but picture driving this automobile around the streets near your home. What a pain that would be.

2. SSC Tuatara

This American marvel is currently the world’s quickest production automobile. It can reach a high speed of 455 km/h thanks to its 5.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. The SSC Tuatara, named after a New Zealand lizard recognised for having the quickest genetic evolution of any living species, would be a nightmare to drive in India, especially over speed breakers, due to its low ground clearance.

3. Bugatti Chiron

Bugatti’s mid-engine two-seater is a legendary name among supercar fans. It is driven by a quad-turbocharged W16 engine that produces 1,556 horsepower and 1,600 PS in the Super Sport 300+ form. The Bugatti Chiron is an incredible beast of a machine, and its aesthetics radiate total fury. It is owned by some of the world’s most renowned people.

4. Hennessey Venom GT

Since its debut in 2011, this automobile, based on the Lotus Elise/Exige, has been breaking speed records. The Hennessey Venom GT Spyder reached a high speed of 427.4 km/h at the Naval Air Station Lemoore in California in 2016. The nicest part about this automobile is that it is quite inexpensive in comparison to other sports cars. It costs around Rs 2.7 crores, which isn’t the most costly automobile acquired by many of our Indian superstars.

5. Koenigsegg Agera RS

The Koenigsegg Agera RS, which became the world’s fastest production car in 2017 by achieving a speed of 447 km/h, is another supercar that did not make it to India. There are just 27 models of this automobile in the world. It comes with a 5-liter V8 engine that can produce 1,176 horsepower.

It’s understandable that these supercars never made it to India. It’s one thing to own a fast, well-designed automobile; it’s another to drive it on Indian roads.
