The Everest shares the Ranger’s C-shaped LED headlights and grille, but foregoes the truck’s hefty front bumper in favour of a more elegant appearance. Of course, instead of a bed, there’s a cabin, as well as longer rear doors for simpler access to the backseat. An Everest-branded trim piece connects the horizontal taillights. With a vertical 10.1- or 12.0-inch touchscreen in the centre console and an 8.0- or 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster behind the wheel, the interior closely resembles that of the Ranger. Parking and crossing tough terrain are made easier with the help of a 360-degree camera attached to the screen.

Depending on the model and engine, a six-speed automatic or a 10-speed automatic transmission is offered. There will be two four-wheel-drive systems available, as well as a rear-wheel-drive Everest in some regions.
