The Kia EV6 GT is an AMCI-certified winner of the drag race against Ferrari Roma and Lamborghini Huracan Evo.
Kia unveiled the EV6 GT, which the company claims is the most powerful Kia production vehicle ever. The Kia EV6 GT was designed to compete with supercars, as evidenced by its AMCI-certified victory in a drag race against Ferrari Roma and Lamborghini Huracan Evo. Kia’s electric vehicle is built on the E-GMP modular platform.
The design of the Kia EV6 GT is inspired by the brand’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy, which claims to infuse the similarities and differences between nature and everyday life. A new aero spoiler and a diffuser are added to the front fascia and rear design of the new GT version of the EV6. It rides on custom 21-inch alloy wheels with neon brake callipers. The interior of the new electric vehicle features neon accents, lightweight front bucket seats, and a striped pattern on the upper dashboard and front centre armrest. The door panels, centre console, and dashboard all have ambient lighting. The front seats are trimmed in vegan suede and feature the ‘GT’ moniker with green piping.

The EV6 offers an array of standard technology and the GT trim offers 20 standard active Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). With 800V multi-charging architecture, the Kia EV6 GT is ultra-fast DC charging enabled that is one can get the EV recharged from 10 to 80 per cent in under 18 minutes.
The Kia EV6 GT ups the performance quotient of the automaker’s EV6 lineup. The EV6 GT will have a dual-motor e-AWD powertrain that will send power to all four wheels of the electric vehicle. The EV has a 77.4 kWh battery, a 160kW front motor, and a 270kW rear motor, resulting in a power output of 576 hp and a peak torque of 740.2 Nm. It also has a ‘Drift Mode’ that directs more power to the rear wheels. It also has GT Drive Mode, My Drive Mode, and other drive modes like Eco, Normal, Sport, and Snow that are available on other EV6 models.

The Kia EV6 GT can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 259 km/h. The electric vehicle has larger diameter disc brakes with quad-piston front callipers, a stiffer chassis, faster ratio steering, electronically controlled suspension, and an Electronic Limited-Slip Differential.
