Toyota Fortuner Prices Hiked Again

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced yet another price increase for its domestic models. The top-selling Fortuner full-size SUV and the Innova Crysta premium MPV, as well as the Camry Hybrid and Vellfire, have seen significant price increases this time around. The facelifted Fortuner and the range-topping Legender were both introduced by the Japanese automaker early last year.

Toyota Fortuner New Prices

The most recent price increase for the Toyota Fortuner has resulted in the seven-seater being quoted at up to Rs. 77,000 more than before. The base 4X2 petrol MT costs Rs. 32.59 lakh, while the 4X2 petrol AT costs Rs. 34.18 lakh (ex-showroom), representing a Rs. 19,000 price increase. A similar price increase has been seen with on the 4×2 diesel MT and 4×2 diesel AT variants.

They have now priced at Rs. 35.09 lakh and Rs. 37.37 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom). The prices of the 4X4 diesel MT and 4X4 diesel AT variants have risen by Rs. 39,000 each, to Rs. 38.93 lakh and Rs. 41.22 lakh (ex-showroom) at the moment. Moving up the list, the Legender 42 AT and 4X4 AT, as well as the GR Sport 44 diesel AT, have increased in price by Rs. 77,000.

They are priced at Rs. 42.82 lakh, Rs. 46.54 lakh, and Rs. 50.34 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom). The ex-showroom price of the Legender 42 is Rs. 5.24 lakh higher than when the facelift was introduced, while the on-road price is over Rs. 6.25 lakh. Even the entry-level Fortuner has increased in price by Rs. 2.61 lakh in a year.

The regular Toyota Fortuner 4X4 AT diesel was priced at Rs. 37.43 lakh at the time, but it is now priced at Rs. 41.22 lakh (ex-showroom) – Rs. 3.79 lakh more expensive, and the on-road price will be higher as well. Prices for the Innova Crysta (Rs. 17.45-26.77L) have increased by Rs. 23,000, while the Camry Hybrid (Rs. 45.25L) and Vellfire (Rs. 94.45L) have increased by Rs. 90,000 and Rs. 1.85 lakh, respectively.
