The EcoBoost V6 model, which is more affordable and less powerful, gets better gas mileage than the supercharged V8 Raptor. The non-R Raptor achieves a combined rating of 16 mpg while achieving 15 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. The twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 produces much less power, with 450 horsepower (335 kW) and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm) of torque.
The Ford truck has 17-inch rims with 37-inch tyres, while the other truck has larger wheels and rims. The Ram rides on 35-inch tyres and 18-inch rims. In comparison to the 6,439-lb (2,920-kg) TRX, the Ford weighs 5,950 pounds (2,698 kilograms), has greater ground clearance, and is lighter.

Ram launched the 1500 TRX for the 2021 model year, dethroning the Ford Raptor as the meanest off-road pickup at the time. However, FoMoCo didn’t sit idling in the pit lane as Ram took a victory lap. The automaker got to work on upgrading the Raptor, slipping a recalibrated and tweaked GT500 engine under the hood. The result was the Raptor R that Ford introduced earlier this year.
