The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS400 debut is just around the horizon, and a fresh spy photo of the bike has revealed its appearance. Bajaj has developed an aggressive design for the Pulsar NS400; here’s a complete analysis.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Features
Starting with the front end of the Pulsar NS400, the headlamp cluster consists of a single LED projector headlight flanked by LED DRLs on either side. These DRLs resemble a bolt of lightning, and it will be interesting to see how they appear when lighted. The headlamp cowl looks quite tidy and gives the new Pulsar NS400 an aggressive appearance.
The instrument cluster is located above the headlamp and is likely to be all-digital, as seen in the rest of the revamped Bajaj Pulsar line thus far. It is expected to have Bluetooth connectivity, incoming call and SMS notifications, and turn-by-turn navigation. There are also LED turn indicators and a massive USD fork finished in gold, similar to the 2024 Pulsar N250.
The bike’s side profile displays a gasoline tank in the manner of the Pulsar NS200, as well as neatly fitted tank extensions. These tank extensions are bigger and more aesthetically pleasing than those on the NS200. The radiator shroud, which has a carbon fiber type sticker, is visible beneath the tank extensions, as stated in a previous teaser. A tiny belly pan is also visible.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Design
The side panel of this red bike is coated in black, which creates visual contrast, while the tail portion looks to be a development of the NS200’s design. Overall, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 seems strong and athletic, which is what Pulsar enthusiasts enjoy.
Under the bodywork, there is a perimeter structure that is presumably identical to the NS200. This frame is suspended by a USD fork, as previously stated, and a preload adjustable monoshock. A single disc will be used for braking in both the front and back. Dual-channel ABS will be standard, and we may expect ABS modes similar to those seen on the Pulsar N250.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Powertrain
The powerplant remains a mystery. It might be based on the new KTM 390 Duke, with a 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing more than 40bhp. It might also be the same 373cc engine as the Bajaj Dominar 400, but tuned differently. Given Bajaj’s goal pricing of roughly Rs 2 lakh ex-showroom, it may be the latter.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Launch
This and other information will be announced on May 3, 2024, when Bajaj debuts the Pulsar NS400 in India. This will be one of the company’s most significant debuts in a long time, and the bike will be carrying a lot of weight.
