2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 Unveiled

Triumph has announced the 2025 version of the Speed Twin 900, which has been overhauled with premium cycle parts. Drawing influence from the previously released Speed Twin 1200, this model receives a few design changes and feature enhancements.

Triumph Speed Twin 900: design

Starting with the design, the Speed Twin 900 now has a sleeker profile similar to the 1200s, as well as a new LED headlamp, shorter fenders, and a diminutive tail lights. Triumph is offering the Speed Twin 900 in three colourways: Aluminium Silver, Phantom Black, and Pure White, each with its own decal.

Moving on to the bike parts, the previous version’s telescopic fork arrangement has been replaced with Marzocchi USDs and twin shock absorbers at the back. For braking, the motorcycle now has a larger 320 mm floating disc, a 4-piston radial caliper, and a Brembo master cylinder. The rear wheel has a 255 mm fixed disc with a 2-piston Nissin caliper. The motorcycle is mounted on 18-17 inch alloy wheels with 100/90 (front) and 150/70 (rear) section tyres.

The Speed Twin 900 has been modified with a new TFT console derived from the 1200s, as well as improved switchgear. Furthermore, the seat height has increased to 780 mm, but it may be reduced to 760 mm by selecting the low seat height attachment. Triumph is supplying more than 120 accessories for the Speed Twin 900.

Triumph Speed Twin 900: powertrain

The motorcycle’s powertrain remains unchanged, with a 990cc parallel-twin mill producing 64 bhp and 80 Nm and coupled to a 5-speed transmission. There are two riding modes: road and rain, and various rider aids such as cornering ABS and traction control have been optimized.

Triumph has already debuted the 2025 Speed Twin 900 in the UK, but it will be available in India in the coming months. Expect a price increase from the existing Rs 8,49 lakh ex-showroom.
