Five Most-affordable EVs With Range Of Over 300 Km

There was a period when EVs were not considered a viable option to fossil-fuel cars, mostly because to the range anxiety that was associated with them. However, in today’s world, range anxiety is a thing of the past, as many EVs claim to have a range of more than 300 kilometers. Here are the ten most cheap among them:

Tata Tigor EV

The Tata Tigor EV is the carmaker’s first entry in the list with a claimed range of more than 300 km and the only subcompact sedan on the list. It has a 26 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 315 km based on ARAI ratings. It is priced between Rs. 12.49 lakh to Rs. 13.75 lakh.

MG Windsor EV

The MG Windsor EV was India’s first electric product to have a battery subscription plan, which significantly decreased the EV’s pricing. The Windsor has a 38 kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 332 km.

With the battery rental plan, the Windsor EV costs between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 12 lakh. So, if you choose the battery rental option, the Windsor will be the most economical EV on this list with a claimed range of more than 300 kilometers. However, pricing for the battery pack range between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 16 lakh.
