Audi RS7 Sportback Discontinued by Audi India

Audi has discontinued the RS7 Sportback in India, and the vehicle is no longer available on the company’s website. In the Indian market, the company will debut the second-generation RS7 Sportback in mid-2020. The performance sedan’s most recent documented price was Rs 2.24 crore (ex-showroom).

A five-seat arrangement, RS adaptive air suspension, flared wheel arches, 21-inch alloy rims, single-frame grille with honeycomb mesh, rear bumper with integrated diffuser and oval exhaust pipes, panoramic sunroof, and LED matrix headlights were among the features. Inside, the RS7 Sportback included a virtual cockpit, a heads-up display (HUD), an Alcantara-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel with aluminium paddle shifters, RS sport seats with Black Pearl Nappa leather, and a 705W B&O 16-speaker sound system.

The RS7 was powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine mated to an eight-speed automated transmission unit, producing 591bhp and 800Nm of peak torque. (messinascatering) The engine was linked to a 48V mild-hybrid system and gave power to all four wheels through the Quattro all-wheel-drive system, allowing the car to reach 100kmph in 3.6 seconds.
