Auto Expo 2023: MG Astor Revels In New Colour
At the ongoing Auto Expo 2023, MG Motor India displayed a variety of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The business also displayed the Astor in a brand-new color option called Aurora Silver alongside a number of impending new models. Other color possibilities for the car include Spiced Orange, Glaze Red, Candy White, and Starry Black, among others.
Two petrol engine options are available for the MG Astor mechanically. The 1.3-liter 220 Turbo engine produces 220Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm and 138 horsepower at 5,600 rpm. A standard six-speed automatic torque converter is provided for this engine. The vehicle may also be ordered with a 1.5-liter VTi tech engine, which generates 144Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm and 108bhp at 6,000 rpm. Either an eight-speed CVT or a manual transmission are available with this engine.
The vehicle on display maintained stylistic cues from the present model visually. Sangria Red interior theme, which was formerly exclusive to the highest-spec Savvy variation, has now been added to the Astor Sharp variant.
