The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is one of the most popular bikes from the Pune-based manufacturer. It was one of the iconic motorcycles that kick-started the performance biking segment in India. The bike’s modern sibling is the Bajaj Pulsar P150.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is currently available in two variants: The Single Disc model is priced at Rs 1,11,174 and the Twin Disc brake variant costs Rs 1,14,176 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Features

The Pulsar 150 is fairly basic when it comes to features. It comes with a bikini fairing cowl around the halogen headlight with ‘Wolf-Eyed’ pilot lamps. Even the semi-digital instrument cluster remains unchanged. However, the backlit switches give the Pulsar 150 a premium touch, not to mention enhancing the practicality.

The Pulsar 150 is powered by a 149.5cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with fuel injection. It churns out 14PS at 8500rpm and 13.2Nm at 6500rpm. The engine works alongside a 5-speed gearbox.

The Pulsar 150 comes suspended on a telescopic fork and twin rear shocks. Braking hardware depends on the variant selection. The single-disc models get a 260mm front disc and 130mm rear drum, while the dual-disc variant gets a 280mm front disc and 230mm rear disc. Both the variants get single-channel ABS as standard. The rear drum brake-equipped variant weighs 148kg whereas the rear disc version tips the scale at 150kg, both kerb.
