Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Revealed: 650-HP W12, Unique Upgrades

A new Continental GT from Mulliner will be driven by Bentley to the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year. The Azure and Speed specifications are combined into a single, Mulliner-wrapped package, and it will be the top-of-the-line CGT model. There is a slight increase in power and a greater increase in luxury.

Bentley’s 6.0-liter W12 engine is located underneath the hood. The Crewe team upped the horsepower by 4% to 650 horsepower (478 kilowatts). It produces the same 900 Newton-meters (664 pound-feet) of torque. Its duration from zero to sixty drops to 3.5 seconds thanks to the little increase in power. That is rather swift for a coupe that can reach 208 mph (335 kilometres per hour).

Additionally, the new Mulliner model has electronic all-wheel steering and an electronic limited-slip differential with active torque vectoring to aid in manoeuvring. The Dynamic Ride and three-chamber active air suspension are standard on the Bentley.

With distinctive stylistic accents, Bentley distinguishes the new Continental GT Mulliner from the rest of the lineup. The Mulliner has a new “Double Diamond” matrix grille up front, and the front fender vents also have the same silver-and-black pattern. The Mulliner model additionally has lit outer door sills and special mirror caps painted in either satin silver or black. Additionally, the Continental has distinctive 22-inch wheels with self-leveling emblems.

Inside, Bentley offers a three-color split with a primary, secondary, and accent color. Mulliner prepared eight such color combinations that customers can pair with one of 88 different wood veneers. Bentley’s “Diamond in Diamond” quilting, which has each diamond containing precisely 712 stitches and accounts for a total of almost 400,000 stitches, is found on the doors, seats, and rear quarter panels.

The firm now offers the Azure line for people looking for comfort, while those looking for something sportier may choose the GT S, which is powered by a V8. The Speed, with its strong W12 engine, is an excellent option for those seeking pure power. All three are now below the new Continental GT Mulliner W12, which is an improvement over the previous GTC Mulliner.

At this year’s Goodwood Festival, where the business will be presenting a number of new models, the new Mulliner vehicle will make its public premiere. Additionally, Bentley will reveal Mulliner’s upcoming endeavour, which has had remarkable success with its Bacalar and Blower models.
