Atto 3 was introduced by BYD India for Rs 33.99 lakh in India (ex-showroom). Since it was unveiled last month, the electric SUV, which comes in just one fully equipped trim, has received 1,500 reservations from customers.
A 60.48kWh battery pack that generates 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque powers the Atto 3. There are three different drive modes—Eco, Normal, and Sports—and BYD claims a sprint time of 7.3 seconds from 0 to 100 kph. The claAimed range is 521km, and there are 80kW DC and 7.2kW AC charging options.

The Atto 3’s exterior styling and design are unique, and it features split LED tail lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, a contrast C-pillar, and sleek LED headlamps. The BYD Atto 3 has a rotatable 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a five-inch digital instrument cluster, powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and 31-colour ambient lighting inside the cabin.
The BYD Atto 3 goes up against the likes of the Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV.Â
