BYD, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has introduced the Atto 3 electric SUV in India for 34 lakh (ex-showroom). Nearly 1,500 reservations have already been made for the Atto 3 electric SUV by the EV manufacturer. The electric motor in the BYD Atto 3 has a maximum output of 200 hp and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. It has three riding modes, Eco, Normal, and Sport, and it can accelerate to 100 kmph from a stop in 7.3 seconds. Wind resistance coefficient for the electric SUV is 0.29 CD. BYD Atto 3 has a claimed range of 480 km from NEDC and a claimed range of 521 km from ARAI.

Using its Blade Battery technology, BYD Atto 3 has a 60.48kWh battery capacity. The Atto 3 has a fast charging capability that the Chinese EV manufacturer claims can recharge it up to 80% in just 50 minutes. According to ARAI tests, it has a range of 521 km. One of the safest EVs in the nation will be the BYD Atto 3. In a recent Euro NCAP crash test, it received a five-star safety rating.
