First Pure Electric Car By Range Rover To Be Displayed In 2024

While Tata Motors, Jaguar Land Rover’s parent company, is at the forefront of India’s EV revolution, the premium brand has yet to introduce its first all electric car. In a recent regulatory filing, the business reaffirmed its product plan, stating that the first all-electric Range Rover will be available in 2024. Not only that, but by the end of 2030, the company plans to electrify its entire model lineup. (Xanax)

Internationally, the Land Rover is now available in mild and plug-in hybrid models, and with 2023 approaching, the new electrified Range Rover will shortly enter its final phases of development. The forthcoming EVs will be built on the brand’s two architectures, Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) and Electric Modular Architecture (EMA), the latter of which is exclusively used for pure electric cars.

In India, the Land Rover line now includes the Range Rover, Velar, Sport, Defender, Evoque, Discovery, and Discovery Sport. The premium manufacturer has introduced the Range Rover Sport and the flagship Range Rover. Both of these premium SUVs are available in petrol and diesel models, with prices beginning at Rs 1.64 crore and Rs 2.39 crore, respectively. We drove the Range Rover in LWB trim, and here is our initial impressions.
