The Hero Splendor is one of India’s best-selling and most popular motorcycles. To replicate the same success in the 125 cc segment, the brand has launched the Hero Super Splendor Canvas Black Edition, priced at Rs. 77,430, to attract buyers looking for a reliable and powerful commuter bike (ex-showroom).
Hero has been constantly updating the bike and has now launched a new variant of the bike in the country to make the package even more appealing. Everything you need to know about the new Hero Super Splendor Canvas Black Edition is listed below:
Hero Super Splendor Canvas Black Edition Design
To begin, this new Super Splendor 125 variant has an all-black theme that looks distinct and appealing. This new variant lacks graphics and appears neat from a distance. The Super Splendor 3D badge, on the other hand, remains prominent and sits on the fuel tank, while the Hero badge remains on the side body panels. The all-black theme is available in two finishes: gloss black and super stealth matte black.
To complement the black color, the engine has a grey gunmetal finish, while the lights remain the same. The bike is also available in five other colors: Glaze Black, Dusky Black, Nexus Blue, Heavy Grey, and CB Red. All of these iterations have high-contrast color finishes and eye-catching body graphics.
Hero Super Splendor Canvas Black Edition Engine
The mechanical setup, however, has not changed, and it is still powered by a 125 cc, BS6 compliant engine with XSens Technology. The peak power and torque output of this engine are 10.73 bhp and 10.6 Nm, respectively. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and provides commendable performance and refinement. The engine is said to be 13% more fuel efficient.
The Super Splendor has a diamond frame chassis and claims to have 180 mm of ground clearance. The bike is available in both Disc and Drum versions, and it has 18-inch wheels with a rear 90/90-18 tire. New features include a new part analog/digital instrument cluster, a USB charging port, and a side stand cut-off engine function.
