Honda Livo Latest Update

The Honda Livo is the brand’s sporty, premium commuter, a spiritual successor to the Honda CB Twister, and slots in above the CD 110 Dream. It boasts aggressive styling, with the tank extensions making it look bigger than it is, though the minimal decals give it an understated look.

The Honda Livo is the brand’s sporty, premium commuter, a spiritual successor to the Honda CB Twister, and slots in above the CD 110 Deluxe. It boasts aggressive styling, with the tank extensions making it look bigger than it is, though the minimal decals give it an understated look.

Honda Livo Price

The Honda Livo price starts from Rs 75,002 for the base variant. This one gets a 130mm drum brake up front. The top-of-the-line Deluxe version comes with a 240mm front disc priced at Rs 79,002 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Honda Livo Features

The Honda Livo gets a sporty bodywork with a quick headlamp cowl. It features halogen illumination all around. The instrument cluster has an analog layout for the speedometer, with a digital inset for the fuel gauge, odometer, and trip meter. However, it doesn’t get features like a real-time and average mileage indicator, or a distance-to-empty feature. That said, the Livo gets an engine kill switch and Honda’s characteristic silent starter, ensuring the engine can start quickly and noiselessly.

Honda Livo Engine

The Honda Livo is a fuel-injected 109.51cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine linked to a 4-speed transmission, which it shares with the Honda CD 110 Dream. The engine boasts friction reduction technologies such as a piston cooling jet, roller rocker arm with needle bearing, and an offset cylinder, which help improve the mileage. The motor produces 8.79PS at 7500rpm and 9.30Nm at 5500rpm.

Honda Livo Suspension & Brakes

The Livo uses a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Brakes include a 240mm front disc or a 130mm front drum, and a 130mm rear drum with CBS as standard. For better mileage, the rear end rolls on low-rolling -resistance tubeless tyres whereas the front gets a conventional tubeless tyre.

Honda Livo Rivals

The Honda Livo competes against the TVS Star City Plus and Hero Passion Pro 110, as well as the Hero Super Splendor and Suzuki Access 125, which fall in roughly the same price bracket. You can also stretch your budget and go for the top-end variant of the Bajaj Platina 110, the only commuter bike with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).
