India’s Top 3 Electric SUVs Ready To Get Updates In 2022

In India, the electric vehicle market is expanding. Several new electric vehicles will be released in the future years by car manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Tata, MG, Kia, and Hyundai. In reality, this year will see mid-life improvements for existing electric vehicles. Here are the major features of India’s top three electric SUVs, which will be updated in the following months.

1. Updated MG ZS EV

The MG ZS EV 2022 is expected to hit the streets in February. The vehicle will have updated appearance, a more upscale interior, and a larger battery pack. The electric SUV will come with a new 51kWh battery pack with a range of roughly 480 kilometres. ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), PM 2.5 filter, motorised driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof, electronic power steering, multiple USB charging ports, automatic AC unit, and rain sensing wipers are all likely to be borrowed from the Astor.

2. Updated Hyundai Kona EV

Inside and externally, the new Hyundai Kona EV facelift for 2022 has a few apparent improvements. The SUV has slightly revised front and rear bumpers, new headlamps, a new set of alloy wheels, body-colored wheel arches, and reduced body cladding. The front grille is missing on the new model. A 10.25-inch infotainment system, safe exit warning, blindspot assistance, and new BlueLink connected car technology are all available on the inside. The new Kona EV will be powered by a 39.2kWh battery and a 136bhp electric motor. The SUV could be equipped with a larger battery pack this time around.

3. Updated Tata Nexon EV 

The Tata Nexon EV, India’s best-selling electric car, will be equipped with a larger battery pack that promises a greater range. It’s one of the country’s most eagerly anticipated electric SUVs. According to sources, the new model would have a range of roughly 400 kilometres on a single charge. It currently comes with a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery that produces 127bhp and 245Nm of torque. Its design and inside will be tweaked slightly as well. Along with a few additional features, the Tata Nexon EV in 2022 will sport freshly designed dual-tone diamond cut alloys.
