Mahindra will keep the launch pedal firmly depressed following the launches of the All-New Thar, XUV700, and Scorpio-N, three major super hit automobiles. The Indian SUV juggernaut will introduce 4 new vehicles in the upcoming 12 months. Here is what is arriving.
Mahindra XUV 300
The updated Mahindra XUV300 compact SUV has long been in the works. The launch of this sub-4 metre offering, which Mahindra has been testing, is anticipated for later this year. It is anticipated that the SUV will receive exterior cosmetic updates to give it a more modern appearance and interior feature upgrades. The 1.2 litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine in the redesigned SUV will now produce 130 bhp and 230 nm of torque instead of the previous 110 bhp and 200 nm. The XUV300 range recently received this engine’s introduction. The 1.5 litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine will continue to produce 115 bhp and 300 nm of torque. With these engines, the XUV300 will continue to be the “most powerful vehicle in the sub-4 metre compact SUV segment.”
Mahindra TUV300 Plus
The MUV is in need of an update, and the TUV300 Plus is essentially the Bolero Neo with a longer wheelbase. Mahindra’s new twin peak logo and a number of aesthetic updates will make the TUV300 Plus appear much more modern than it did previously. There may also be a few features added. (englishwithashish) The 2.2 litre mHawk turbocharged diesel engine will remain, but it will be tuned more highly, producing 140 bhp-320 nm outputs. The MUV’s rear wheels will still be driven by a six-speed manual transmission, though an automatic transmission option may also be available. Early in 2019, the TUV300 Plus Facelift is anticipated.

Mahindra XUV400
The XUV400, an electric SUV based on the XUV300 sub-4 metre compact SUV, was recently unveiled by Mahindra. The XUV400 EV has no such requirements, in contrast to the XUV300, which must be under 4 metres in length to receive excise duty benefits. The end result is a vehicle that is 4.2 metres longer and, naturally, has a larger boot (by about 100 liters). The XUV400 electric SUV comes with the following impressive features: A battery pack with a range of and a battery that can be quickly charged in just 40 minutes, along with an electric motor that produces 150 Bhp-310 Nm. Launched in January 2023, the Mahindra XUV400 EV will compete with the Tata Nexon EV.
Mahindra Thar 5-Door
Mahindra has started road testing the 5-door, long-wheelbase Thar off-roader in India. The longer wheelbase of the 5-door Thar will provide roomy seating for 5 adults, and the additional doors will make entering and exiting the vehicle much more comfortable. The SUV will likely cost about the same as the Mahindra Scorpio-N, and it will likely use Scorpio-turbocharged N’s gasoline and turbocharged diesel engines. Even the gearboxes will be borrowed, and it’s likely that all of the variants will offer four-wheel drive. A debut at the 2023 Auto Expo is anticipated.
