Merry Christmas 2021 Wishing Different Auto Brand
It’s almost Christmas, and a number of automakers are marking the occasion by releasing holiday-themed videos featuring their automobiles. They each take the concept in a different direction. Audi has a pretty fashionable Santa Claus. BMW has a well-known actor roaming the company’s headquarters. Chevy attempts to make you cry, and Lamborghini surprises a child with an incredible gift.
1. Audi
Audi goes with the traditional concept of buying Santa a new sleigh. The commercial begins with a dashing man in a suit gazing out a window when another man appears and announces that everything is ready. They gain access to a massive garage via an eye scanner that seems like it belongs in one of Christopher Nolan’s Batman films.
A crimson Audi RS E-Tron GT is Santa’s new ride. The gifts are in the rear of the room. As he walks away, we notice the reindeer are now relaxing in the woods.
2. BMW
For its commercial, BMW enlists the help of celebrities. Actor Christoph Waltz arrives at the brand’s headquarters in Munich at the start of the video. For some reason, he does not want to attend the Christmas celebration there. As Waltz tries to elude his escort transporting him to the party, a chase through the building ensues. He even runs into Supercar Blondie as she is filming a video.
Waltz eventually makes his way inside the gathering. He doesn’t appear to be having a good time. When a red BMW iX arrives to take him home, he’s overjoyed.
3. Chevrolet
Chevrolet puts the star power behind the camera by hiring Academy Award-winning director Tom Hooper and Academy Award-winning director of photography Claudio Miranda for its touching ad. A daughter helps to restore her deceased mother’s 1966 Chevy Impala convertible and gives the car to her father for Christmas.
4. Lamborghini
The video by Lamborghini makes us envious of a child. It all begins with a Christmas celebration by a family. When the child opens his presents, he finds a skateboard and a guitar. A remote control with a note to go to the window is his third gift.
There’s a satin red Lamborghini Huracan in the driveway, and the kid can control it using the remote. We learn at the end of the video that someone, ostensibly an uncle, is behind the wheel. The man takes the youngster for a ride. It appears to be a fun way to spend the holidays.
