The price of Honda India’s CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, which is available at its premium BigWing dealerships, was recently reduced. The bike is now available in India for a starting price of Rs 23.11 lakh, down from Rs 32.68 lakh previously.
However, the brand made this move quietly and did not issue a statement about the price drop, but the price list on the official website has already been updated. For a number of Indians, the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade appears to have become more affordable. While the bike is fantastic, the original price tag kept many buyers away from the BigWing Showroom.
The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is powered by a 999cc in-line four-cylinder engine that produces 212 horsepower at 14,500 rpm and 113 Nm at 12,500 rpm. The engine is still linked to a 6-speed transmission.
The kerb weight of the all-new CBR1000RR-R Fireblade is 202.1kg, while the SP variant is 201.3kg. The motorcycle’s aerodynamic winglets specifically increase downforce and improve braking power. The motorcycle has also been outfitted with a full-color TFT display, which adds to its superiority, while the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) available on the Fireblade allows for slip rate control. In addition to allowing the rider to customise the power and brakes, the brand has equipped the motorcycle with three riding modes.
The Honda CBR1000RR-R SP has received second-generation 43mm front forks from Ohlins, as well as more Brembo callipers, to make it more track-focused than the normal variant. The Ohlins TTX36 Smart-EC monoshock unit has been installed at the rear of the motorcycle. Brembo Stylema four-piston radial callipers handle braking chores at the front of the motorbike, while Brembo monoblock callipers derived from the Honda RC213V-S handle braking duties at the rear.
