Ram TRX Warlord 6×6 Spectacularly Fails A Jump Attempt

Apocalypse Manufacturing debuted the Warlord, a Ram TRX with an additional axle in the back and a $250,000 sticker price, just over a year ago. The business has made a video to show off what the Warlord can do on dirt. It was a monstrous truck.

The Apocalypse Warlord 6×6 was obtained by The Triple F Collection, who had it customised in a stylish green motif with a “War” emblem in front of the grille that appeared to be a play on the Ram logo. Everything was OK (honestly, it’s a handsome six-wheeler), until the YouTubers decided to attempt a wild stunt with the heavy vehicle by forcing the truck to jump a dirt ramp.

We’ve seen other Ram TRX jump attempts before, but those were made with the four-wheeled version, which is lighter.

Fair enough, the big 6×6 truck was able to get some air after picking up speed. It appeared as though it would make the jump, but as the previous sentence implied, it utterly failed. The hang period was a little too brief, causing the Warlord to crash violently onto the receiving ramp. Fortunately, no one was seriously harmed as a result of the stunt failure, except from possible ego bruises.

Despite my jokes, the truck suffered significant damage, especially to its frame. The fact that the wheels were pointing in different directions after the incident proved that the steering mechanism was clearly damaged.

In another video uploaded by the YouTubers, the shop that’s going to work on the Warlord, Evans Automotive, said that the front cross member pulled the frame together, which got the condenser and radiator, while completely ripping off the front left side of the axle.

The cost of the repairs, which included numerous frame and body repairs as well as other engine and suspension parts, was projected to be above $20,000.

But there is just one issue. Ram TRX spare parts weren’t yet available at the time of the damage assessment, thus the required replacement components weren’t either. We don’t know if the 6×6 truck has been fixed as of this writing, but if it has, we can be sure the YouTuber won’t try the same expensive trick again.
