The Rare Cars Of India – Imports You Didn’t Know Existed Here

People who are fascinated with cars must be interested in knowing about some rarely found cars that are imported from outside but exist in our country, India.

People nowadays work more, earn more, and save more, spending even more on automobiles.

It’s not all Lamborghinis and Ferraris in the world of premium automobiles. India features some of the most costly automobiles in the world.

Let’s have a look at some of these imported vehicles that are uncommon in India.

1. Aston Martin DB6

The DB6’s aesthetics was vastly improved over the DB5.
To improve high-speed stability, the Kamm tail rear spoiler divides bumpers and uses the front bumper.
Twiggy, Paul McCartney, HRH Prince Charles, Mick Jagger, and Peter Sellers are among the famous owners.

2. Honda NSX

The Honda NSX, also known as the Acura NSX, is a two-seater sports automobile with a mid-engine.
The HP-X concept vehicle was the inspiration for the NSX in the 1980s.
It was a racing-oriented mid-engine 3.0 L V6 rear-wheel-drive sports automobile.

3. Mazda RX7 FD

The RX designation has a long history with Mazda, as anything with the RX moniker features a rotary engine.
The RX-7 has always had more panache than previous RX models, and its FD version is well-known among UK car buyers.
The twin-turbocharged, twin-rotor 13B-REW engine powers the FD.
It was built about 1992 and was one of a kind.

4. Ford Escort RS Cosworth

Ford Escort RS Cosworth was a rally car used by Ford’s factory squad in the World Rally Championship from 1993 to 1998.
Escort RS Cosworth was revamped and rebranded as Escort WRC in 1997.
The car was first released in 1999 and lasted for two more seasons until being replaced by the Focus RS WRC.
RS Cosworth, an escort, received eight WRC points.

5. Honda DC5 Integra Type R

Honda’s Integra Type R DC2 was a fantastic car when it was released in 1995.
For its excellent handling and performance, it garnered a lot of accolades from critics and aficionados alike.
Because the first-generation Integra Type R was so well-received, the second generation had a lot to live up to.

6. Mazda RX8

The Mazda RX-8 only has one engine type: a 1308cc Petrol engine.
A 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission are available.
Depending on the speed difference, the RX-8 obtains 19.0 km/h on the highway and 22 km/h in the city. It has four seats and a four-cylinder engine.

7. Ford Focus RS

The 2017 Ford Focus RS comes standard with a GKN all-wheel-drive system with Twinster twin-clutch technology.
This isn’t the only vehicle that has this technology; the Range Rover Evoque and the Volvo S60/V60 Polestar are also equipped with it.
A new Ford Focus RS with all-wheel drive and Twinster twin-clutch technology has been developed by Ford.

8. BMW 8 Series

The BMW 8 series is a huge luxury sports automobile that will be available in two models: 840i and M850i.
In India, the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe was launched, with prices starting at Rs. 1.29 crore.
It has a 360-degree camera (optional), parking assistant, camera, and ultrasound-based park distance control (PDC) system in the front and back, as well as a reversing assistant, a rear-view camera, and wireless telephony.

9. Honda S2000

The Honda S2000 is an open-top sports automobile that seats two people.
Honda produced this car from 1999 to 2009, and it was first shown as a concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995.
On April 15, 1999, the production form was launched to commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary.

10. BMW E86 Z4 M

The BMW Z4 M-Coupe is a three-door fastback car based on the Z4 roadster that can carry up to two passengers.
Its goal was to deliver both comfort and speed.
These cars are a look back at the debut and availability of some of the rarest among cars, many of which were unfamiliar.

Though India’s roads are not suitable for driving a luxury car, the country has made significant progress, and there are now many more premium luxury cars on the road. Even the cars that were infrequent on the road can be seen.
