The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is on the horizon and is set to be released shortly. The business just sent out invitations for the first ride test of the bike, which will take place in July. Knowing Royal Enfield’s habit to plan their debuts close to the first riding experiences, the Guerrilla 450 is expected to enter the market around the end of June or mid-July.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Design & Engine
The Guerrilla 450 is Royal Enfield’s debut into the 400cc roadster motorcycle segment. The bike is projected to be built on the Himalayan 450 platform, which means that the frame will be drawn from the adventure cycle, but the subframe will likely be altered to suit its roadster bike application.
It will be driven by a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 39.47bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm in the Himalayan. Royal Enfield may adjust the engine’s state of tune and potentially the gearing to fit the performance and rideability of a roadster.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Features
Pictures of test mules from the past indicate that the Guerrilla 450 will feature a minimal yet purposeful look. The bike features the traditional roadster bike appearance, whether it’s the circular LED headlamp, the tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, or the short tail section that resembles the Himalayan’s. Expect a wide range of hues and extras to be offered with the bike.
The feature list should likewise be thorough, with LED lighting all around, dual-channel ABS, and either the Himalayan’s color TFT or the Hunter 350/Super Meteor’s analogue dial. While it is too early to say, we wouldn’t be surprised if Royal Enfiled adds riding modes or perhaps traction control, since this appears to be the standard with recent 400cc bike introductions.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Price
Royal Enfield expects the Guerrilla 450 to be priced similarly to the Triumph Speed 400, which costs Rs 2.33 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi.
