Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker, displayed its next premium compact SUV, the Fronx, during the Auto Expo 2023. Bookings for the car have begun for a nominal fee of Rs 11,000 per. The Fronx will be offered in five different variants: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. Prices for each model are expected to be published in the coming days.
Customers can select between six monotone and three dual-tone colour schemes. Nexa Blue, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Earthen Brown, Opulent Red, and Splendid Silver are among the monotone colour possibilities. Earthen Brown with Bluish Black roof, Opulent Red with Bluish Black roof, and Splendid Silver with Bluish Black roof are the dual-tone colour possibilities.

Furthermore, the Fronx small SUV includes Suzuki Connect, which includes over 40 intelligent connect vehicle functions. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is equipped with up to six airbags (Zeta and Alpha models only), ABS with EBD, ESP with hill hold aid and rollover prevention, Brake Assist (BA), and ISOFIX.
The Fronx has two petrol engine choices under the hood. The 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine generates 89bhp at 6,000rpm and 113Nm at 4,400rpm. This engine is available with both a five-speed manual transmission and a five-speed automatic transmission. The 1.0-litre K-Series turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, produces 99bhp at 5,500rpm and 147.6Nm of torque between 2,000 and 4,500rpm. The turbo engine is available with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
