This year, the Indian automobile industry will see a number of changes and new vehicle releases. In fact, in the first half of 2022, a number of intriguing models are expected to hit the roads. The following are essential details about the upcoming new Hyundai, Kia, and MG automobiles, which will be released in H1 2022.
1. New-Gen Hyundai Tucson
The all-new Hyundai Tucson will be updated inside and out and will use the brand’s new ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language. A new parametric front grille, reworked LED headlamps, updated bumpers, quad taillamps joined by an LED bar, and a faux skid plate are among the significant stylistic modifications. A dual-screen infotainment system with the latest smartphone connectivity and two-device Bluetooth connectivity is available on the inside. The old 2.0L turbo petrol and diesel engines will be available in the new Hyundai Tucson in 2022.
2. Kia Carens
Carens, Kia’s next 6-seater SUV, is set to hit stores in the coming months. Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus will be the five trim levels available. Three engines are available for the model: a 1.5L normally aspirated petrol, a 1.4L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel. The Kia Carens comes with a slew of convenience features and smart connectivity options. It’s the first car in its class to provide middle-row passengers one-touch tumble down capabilities. In addition, the Carens has the largest wheelbase in its class.
3. Updated MG ZS EV
According to reports, the new 2022 MG ZS EV facelift will be unveiled in February. The electric SUV will have a larger battery capacity and a longer range. The new model will have a 51kWh battery and a range of around 480 kilometres. Its exterior will also undergo some alterations. The Astor SUV’s 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Level 2 autonomous ADAS, and AI assistant could be borrowed by the upcoming ZS EV. New colour schemes and trimmings could be available for the electric ZS.
