In recent years, Toyota has copied the Maruti Baleno as the Toyota Glanza, the Grand Vitara as the Urban Cruiser, and many others. Upcoming Toyota Cars In India

Fronx-based Toyota SUV

Toyota’s focus for 2024 will be on the smaller end of the market, with the initial launch being their version of the Fronx SUV. The Urban Cruiser Taisor will have a slightly different top hat, but the same powertrains, feature list, layout, and dimensions. This will be Toyota’s comeback to the sub-4 SUV class, where it has been absent since the discontinuation of the Urban Cruiser in 2022. This is India’s fastest-growing segment and is critical to Toyota’s volumes in the Indian market.

Toyota Urban SUV (Toyota eVX)

Toyota’s counterpart, now dubbed the Urban SUV concept, is also scheduled to make its debut after the Maruti eVX is released. It has the same size and look as the eVX and will most likely be supplied with the same powertrain, feature set, and interiors. It’s expected to be priced similarly, and based on their current agreement, it might be manufactured for Toyota at the Maruti Suzuki Gujarat plant, which is planned to handle the majority of the world’s eVX manufacturing.We also anticipate strong demand from Indian purchasers for the new Land Cruiser Prado in all body styles, so Toyota may bring it here in limited quantities.
