Watch: This Drifting Mclaren 720s Wrapped In Christmas Lights Is A Unique Sight

The McLaren 720S is already one of the market’s most impressive supercars. Meanwhile, a video of an even more unique iteration of the British supercar has hit the internet. The McLaren 720S in question, however, is not from the manufacturer, but rather visually customised by an owner without any changes to the base model’s body. The vehicle has been seen draped in Christmas lights and drifting through city streets. The video shows the complete supercar, from the front splitter to the back diffuser, draped in multicoloured Christmas lights.

The McLaren 720S was so dazzling with these vibrantly coloured lights that its sharp silhouette couldn’t be seen in the dark. B-Roll footage of tyre smoke, paddle shifting, and Christmas lights flying in the wind can be seen in the Instagram video. It also shows the supercar doing tricks like donuts, burnouts, and general sliding. The video’s pictures have been remixed with Christmas music.

The McLaren 720S is the automaker’s second all-new McLaren Super Series model. It was debuted to the world at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017 and replaced the 650S on the market in May 2017. According to McLaren, the 720S supercar is 91% new compared to its predecessor. This supercar is built on a carbon monocoque chassis that has been upgraded to be lighter and stiffer than the previous iteration, the 650S. This two-door coupe has a rear-mid engine and rear-wheel drive, and the butterfly doors add to the car’s unusual design.
