The first-generation Yamaha FZ that you see here has been altered by “Gear Gear Motorcycles,” and the modification has made the FZ a slimmer vehicle that resembles the storied RX 100 quite a bit. The Yamaha FZ16 was completely disassembled with the intention of adding custom parts, starting with an RX 100 fuel tank and a flat seat that was made to order.
In order to help the yellow fuel tank express its scrambler feel, the side panels were left exposed after all the panels were removed. The modifier finished the same panels in a black shade. Additionally, a custom exhaust system has been installed in place of the stock exhaust, and the rear LED strip has been installed directly where the seat ends.
The combination of the front disc brake and the rear drum brake from the stock model of the previous Yamaha FZ has been retained. On the fuel tank, black graphics imitate the ribbed seat pattern. The modifier has added a round halogen headlight to the custom motorcycle.
The stock handlebar has been replaced with a scrambler racer unit while the bar-end mirrors further improve the overall look of this typical FZ. The use of wide dual-purpose tyres with spoke rims at both ends make it exclusive and also helps in increasing the ride height of the motorcycle.
