The Yamaha MT-15 2.0 has finally been unveiled by Yamaha India. It has been improved in terms of features and mechanics, but the design and other key elements from the previous model have been retained.
First and foremost, the 2022 Yamaha MT-15 features USD forks rather than the conventional ones seen on previous models, as well as a redesigned aluminum swingarm. It also gets a new full-color LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity (Y-connect). This should provide you with information such as phone calls/SMS/email alerts, phone battery status, malfunction notifications, last parked position, and more.
Yamaha MT-15 2.0 Design
Since the original model was discontinued a few months ago, the new MT-15 has been in the works for release. Cyan Storm (new), Racing Blue (new), Ice Fluo-Vermillion, and Metallic Black are the four-color possibilities for the 2022 MT-15. Everything else has been updated to match its fully-faired sister. However, unlike the R15 V4, the MT15 does not get any significant design revisions.
However, unlike the R15 V4, the MT15 does not get any significant design revisions. In fact, most of the outgoing model’s characteristic design components, such as a single-pod projector LED headlamp with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs, have been carried through. Muscular bodywork, a raised tail section, and a side-slung upswept exhaust muffler are among the other aesthetic hallmarks.
