Yamaha has finally released its much-anticipated street bike, the Yamaha MT03, in India. This motorcycle is priced at Rs 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 5000 less than the R3.
The Yamaha MT 03 is the naked version of the R3, and it is making its debut in India. It goes up against the KTM 390 Duke and the BMW G 310 R. The majority of this bike’s components are shared with its fully-faired sibling, the R3. This motorcycle is powered by a 321cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine producing 40.4 bhp and 29.4 Nm. This engine is coupled to a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.
Yamaha MT03 Specs
The Yamaha MT03 is equipped with 17-inch wheels on both ends, as well as USD forks and a mono-shock for suspension. Meanwhile, single discs at either end with ABS provide braking. The MT 03 has dual-channel ABS, an LED headlamp, and an LCD screen.
The Yamaha MT 03 is an Indonesian fully built-up (CBU) unit. It will be available in two colors: Cyan Blue and Black. There are currently no information on the bike’s localization, but we may expect that to happen if the bike has a positive response.
