2024 Porsche Cayenne Interior Revealed Ahead of Global Debut

The updated 2024 Porsche Cayenne goes on sale on April 18, but the company has provided us with an early look at the revamped interior. It looks nothing like the existing design.

The revised Cayenne gets a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster with a curved screen, rather than the current layout with an analogue tachometer in the centre. The driver can choose between up to seven display modes, depending on the vehicle’s specifications. The layout of the views has been streamlined, with an emphasis on the most important data. There is also one that features the classic five-circle Porsche design.

A rectangular, 12.3-inch screen dominates the center of the dashboard. It supports Siri voice commands to operate vehicle functions. Online-connected navigation is a standard feature. When stationary, occupants can stream video on the display.

A new HVAC control panel is located underneath the large screen. A glass surface covers a black panel, and touch recognition and haptic feedback are both included. There are also some actual control switches for the system. There is a volume knob below them.

As a standard, an inductive cooling pad is provided. Additionally, there are two USB-C ports in the front storage area and two more on the centre console in the back.

The gearshift cannot be placed there like it did on the Cayenne before the refresh due to the new HVAC control layout and charging pad. Between the instrument cluster and the infotainment screen, to the right of the steering wheel, the designers moved it to this small protrusion.

The new steering wheel is styled after the 911 of today. The horizontal spokes have multifunction controls. The layout of the instrument cluster and the optional head-up display can both be changed using the buttons and wheels. On the lower left is a stalk for the cruise control. On the right side, there is a dial for switching drive modes.

On the passenger side of the dashboard, an optional 10.9-inch screen is offered. It gives them control over the media and navigation systems. While the Cayenne is moving, the screen can also stream videos, and a filter eliminates distraction for the driver.

A 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine with 349 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque will be standard on the 2024 Cayenne. The twin-turbo V8 in the S trim will have 468 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. 463 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque will be produced by the E-Hybrid PHEV. Additionally, it will get a battery with a capacity of 25.9 kilowatt hours rather than the current 17.9 kWh. Later, a Turbo S E-Hybrid with more power will be released.
