700-HP Aznom Palladium Gets 850-HP Twin-Turbo 6.4-Liter Engine Upgrade

The Ram-based luxury sedan can now reach 155 mph.

The Aznom Palladium is a vehicle unlike any other on the planet. The Ram pickup truck’s bones, notably a twin-turbocharged version of the 5.7-liter Hemi V8, are hidden beneath its fullsize luxury garb. Only ten vehicles will be produced, but one of them will be equipped with a more powerful engine.

There’s at least one Palladium customer who doesn’t think 700 horsepower (522 kilowatts) is enough. Instead of upgrading the 5.7-liter engine, Aznom opted for a more powerful Ram engine, the 6.4-liter Hemi V8. This engine produces 410 horsepower (306 kW) in stock form, however it’s not stock under the hood. This 6.4L engine, like the 5.7L, features two turbochargers and all of the required hardware to make them sing. As a result, this one-of-a-kind Palladium produces 850 horsepower (634 kW) and is driven by a full-time all-wheel-drive system.

The Palladium is a very powerful metal, but it also has a very heavy curb weight. Even though it weighs just under 6,000 pounds and has 850 horsepower, the 0-60 time is estimated to be about four seconds. The top speed is 155 mph – not exactly aerodynamic – and the monster is kept in control by a significantly lower suspension configuration and gigantic 17.7-inch front brakes.

The Palladium is built on the bones of a Ram truck, but it is all about luxury. The interior is covered in leather and wood, and rear-seat passengers may enjoy a limousine experience with a range of controls at their fingertips. This includes not only apparent functionality like seat adjustments, but also equipment like the refrigerator. What exactly is it? Isn’t there a built-in refrigerator in your Ram 1500 Limited? Instead, I should’ve gotten the Palladium.

However, with only 10 being built at a cost of almost $1.5 million, getting one is surely easier said than done.
