Sold Out: Lamborghini Cars Out Of Stock Until 2024, Says Carmaker

Italian luxury car manufacturer said that despite all the challenges faced by auto manufacturers globally, Lamborghini has managed to see very high demands for its vehicles.

If you want to buy a Lamborghini right now, you may have to wait at least 18 months. The Italian luxury carmaker, which is part of the Volkswagen Group, has announced that it has received pre-orders for its vehicles through 2024. According to news agency AFP, Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini, the luxury car brand has experienced high demand for its vehicles and is technically sold out until early 2024.

“We have more and more stepping into Lamborghini. Because they trust the brand, they see how beautiful the cars are, how (high) performing they are,” Winkelmann told AFP as the entire production of Lamborghini cars have been booked by customers.

The development comes despite the fact that the entire auto industry is still dealing with chip shortages and supply issues, as well as global economic uncertainty. Despite the financial fallout from Russia’s war on Ukraine, the carmaker claims that wealthy customers are flocking to its vehicles. (Xanax) Lamborghini hopes that things will remain stable in order to maintain high demand.

The CEO of Lamborghini stated that the long waiting period for its vehicles is due to an ongoing shortage of components, particularly chips required for new electric models. According to Winkelmann, Lamborghini is doing “as much as we can, as quickly as we can to keep everything updated and rolling in a positive way.”

Lamborghini has recently achieved record global sales. In early August, the automaker reported its best half-year performance in history, with record sales and profits. The carmaker’s operating profit increased to 425 million euros as it sold 5,090 units. Lamborghini intends to release hybrid versions of all of its models by 2024. It also intends to release its first electric vehicle after 2025.
