Peoples Pull A Bus Out From A Waterlogged Road In Bengaluru

Heavy rains have been falling in Bangalore for the past few days. Many areas of Bengaluru city have been completely inundated by overnight rains, and there are numerous videos and pictures showing stranded cars and people. Due to the flood, many areas have been abandoned by people. People’s lives have been severely disrupted by the persistent rain. Since many roads are flooded, many businesses have requested that their employees work from home. Colleges and schools remained closed. People are seen in a video that has recently appeared on social media from Bangalore pulling a bus out of a flooded road.

As was already mentioned, heavy rains over night have paralysed Bangalore, and cars, bikes, and other vehicles are stuck in various locations throughout the city. The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus is pulled from a road that is completely under water in this video. A Twitter user shared the video along with the caption, “In Bangalore, you have to take the bus to work rather than the bus taking you there. #bangalorerain.”

The bus in this video appears to be a low floor model that became stuck in a flooded road. It’s unclear if the bus was parked there overnight or if the driver intentionally drove it into the flooded road. Local residents can be seen assisting the bus conductor and driver in removing the bus. People are pulling the bus out of the flooded road after they tied a substantial piece of rope to its front. People can be seen exerting all of their effort to successfully exit the bus. The bus is extricated from the water, and the driver then drives it away.

People’s lives have been severely impacted by the heavy rains. Losses amounting to hundreds of crores have resulted from it. Basavaraj Bommai, the chief minister of Karnataka, told ANI, “We’ll call the IT companies and speak with them about the problems they’re facing (due to waterlogging). We’ll talk about compensation and other harm brought on by rain. Karnataka is expected to experience heavy rains through September 9, especially in Bengaluru. Districts in Kodagu, Shivamogga, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Chikkamagaluru have received a yellow alert.

If you come from a region where frequent heavy rains cause flooded roads. You need to keep a few things in mind. If you own a car or any other type of vehicle, avoid using it outside unless absolutely necessary. Try to deviate if you notice that the road in front of you is flooded. Keep the revs high and drive carefully if there is no other option but to drive through the water because there is a chance that the road may be damaged under the water. Never attempt to restart a stalled vehicle more than once. There is a chance that the ECU in your car could be harmed if the water level is higher.
