While cricket fans are showering love on the players, now Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has gifted a new generation of Thar cricketers to six cricketers. Anand Mahindra tweeted this information. The six players in the Indian cricket team are Mohammad Siraj, T Natarajan, Shardul Thakur, Washington Sundar, Shubhaman Gill and Navdeep Saini.

Anand Mahindra said in his tweet that giving this gift means that the youth should feel that they should believe in themselves. Also, you have to go on the road that very few people go on. The new Thar is powered by a 2.0-liter Amstellian 15 TGDI petrol engine. Which generates 150 bhp of power and 320 Nm of peak torque. Off-roader 2.2 liter Amhawk 130 diesel engine is provided. Which generates 130 bhp of power and 300 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are offered with the option of 6 speed automatic gearbox. But, it only comes with LX trim.
The new Thar has been given both hard top and soft top options. The new Thar can be operated in 650 mm of water. Its ground clearance is 226 mm. It is also not available in 16-inch alloy wheel variants. Touchscreen infotainment system is provided for the first time with the new Thar. It is 7 inches. Which comes with inbuilt navigation and smartphone connectivity. It comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto. Features include manual HVAC, power window, two USB ports, a 12 volt power socket, remote locking, central locking. Many features like dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, speed alert system are given.
