Auto Expo 2023: Maruti Suzuki Jimny Opened for Booking
Beginning Monday, Maruti Suzuki is accepting reservations for the five-door Jimny in India. At the Auto Expo 2023, the company debuted its future Fronx SUV and the eagerly anticipated Jimny for the Indian market. The deposit is set at Rs 11,000 because it is a Nexa product.
The five-door Jimny is under four metres long and comes in seven different colours, including Sizzling Red with Bluish Black Roof, Granite Grey, Nexa Blue, Bluish Black, Pearl Arctic White, and the model’s standout shade, Kinetic Yellow with Black Roof.
It has five-slot honeycomb mesh grille, circular LED headlights with washers, fog lamps placed in the front bumper, straight pillars with an upright muscular bonnet, five twin-spoke alloy wheels, and a spare wheel positioned on the tailgate.
The Maruti Suzuki off-roader has features like black dashboards, second-row adjustable headrests, and circular AC vents inside. A standalone nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is also included in the model, along with Suzuki Connect telematics, steering-mounted controls, cruise control, and a push start/stop button.
Six airbags, hill descent control, hill hold assist, a limited-slip differential, ABS with EBD, a rearview camera, ISOFIX, and side-impact door beams are all included in the safety features of the Jimny.
Its 1.5-liter K15B gasoline engine is modified to produce 103 horsepower and 134 nm of maximum torque. It has a four-speed torque converter or a five-speed manual transmission that sends power to the AllGrip 4×4 system.
